The light of the power (blue energy) Part 3

Secrets Beneath the Ice of the blue energy

Inside the glowing cavern of the Ice Mountains, the air was warmer, but the blue energy was heavier—thicker. Eden and Rond followed the silent figures deeper into the tunnels, each step lit by pale-blue crystals embedded in the walls.

The one who had spoken earlier now led them, his long robe brushing against the stone. “You may call me Serai. I am one of the Keepers of Knowledge. Our duty is to protect the truth… and those destined to carry it.”

“You mean us,” Rond said cautiously.

“Yes,” Serai nodded. “The power you seek is not a weapon—it is a reflection. Only those with clear hearts and firm purpose can wield it. And even then… the planet itself must accept you.”

Eden exchanged a glance with his brother. “We were told we need this power to save Earth. Every year, the Vague Force attacks. This is our last chance before it returns.”

Serai paused, then motioned for them to enter a round chamber carved into the ice. Symbols danced on the walls—ancient, moving as if alive. In the center, a pool of glowing water shimmered like glass.

“This is the Mirror Spring,” Serai explained. “Before you may learn anything more, you must face your own truths. Each of you will look into the water alone.”

Rond stepped forward first. He knelt beside the pool and stared into the glow. Within seconds, his reflection rippled and shifted. Memories surged—his days as a child watching Eden raise a family, the weight of always being the outsider, the fear of failing as a protector.

He gritted his teeth. “I’m not afraid anymore. I may have walked in shadows, but I’ve always chosen light.”

The pool calmed. Serai nodded. “You have faced your doubt. Now the energy will follow your will.”

Eden approached next. As he looked in, his son’s face appeared—laughing, running. But then the vision shifted—his home burning, the sound of screaming, his own fear that he might not return.

“I can’t fail him,” Eden whispered. “I must come back. Stronger than ever.”

The water glowed brighter, then went still. Serai smiled softly. “You are bound not just by blood, but by purpose. The planet has heard you.”

Suddenly, the ground rumbled.

The cavern shook as a surge of energy burst through the walls. A wind howled through the tunnel. Serai’s face turned grim. “They’ve come.”

“Who?” Rond asked, already powering up.

“The Seekers of the Vague Force. They have followed your scent here.”

Eden clenched his fists. “Then we finish this.”

Serai opened a hidden passage. “Go now, before the entrance collapses. There’s one place left—the Core Temple. The true source of Blue Energy of power is there. But it will not wait long.”

With no time to spare, Eden and Rond raced through the icy tunnel—hearts burning with new strength, ready to face the storm.

The battle for the future was no longer far away.

It had already begun.
