Blood Cloud (Emotional conflict) Part 6
Emotional Conflict High School Drama – Vampires.
Sarina walked away, her tears fading into the air like mist.
Mary stood still, feeling a wave of guilt and sorrow wash over her. Suddenly, her emotions erupted and she shouted:
“Why… Why does it have to be like this!?”
Just then, Sui noticed her. He walked toward her and asked gently:
“Mary, are you alright?”
She quickly wiped her eyes, trying to suppress her thoughts. I must not tell anyone, she said to herself, then replied:
“I’m fine. It’s nothing.”
Sui looked unconvinced. He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
“If there’s anything you’re going through, you can talk to me. Think of me as a friend.”
Mary gave a faint smile and nodded.
“Thank you, Sui. I appreciate that… really, I’m okay.”
She rushed back to her classroom, but her heart remained heavy.
After school (Emotional conflict)
Mary returned home with a gloomy expression and went straight to her room. Her thoughts kept circling back to Sarina.
Suddenly, her little brother Rin called out from the living room:
“Mom! Mary! Come quick—look at this!”
Mary hurried to the living room. Rin pointed to the TV screen.
On the screen, a serious-looking anchorwoman was delivering breaking news:
“Authorities have confirmed the increasing spread of vampires across the city. Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients suffering from severe blood shortages. The director of the Central City Hospital urges citizens to remain cautious and donate blood to help save lives and avoid a national catastrophe.”
Rin turned to his mother with wide, frightened eyes.
“Mom… Are there really vampires out there?”
His mother hugged him tightly.
“Don’t worry, my son. We’ll be okay.”
Mary returned to her room, tears forming once again.
“I’m afraid… I’m afraid something terrible is coming for us.”
From that moment on, vampires became the only thing people talked about. Panic spread as it became known that vampires looked just like humans—making it nearly impossible for the police to identify them. The only difference: they feed on human blood.
September 23rd

Mary’s father returned from Italy after a long time away. He started taking Rin to school, while Mary continued walking to school on her own.
At school, Mary found her friend Yuni waiting for her.
“Mary,” Yuni said, “last night… eight people died at the hospital. All of them from blood loss.”
Mary replied grimly, “It’s getting worse. More people are dying than surviving.”
Yuni nodded. “Even people who donate blood can’t do it again so soon… and now, blood donation is mandatory.”
Mary sighed. “This is tragic…”
Suddenly, loud shouting echoed through the school corridors.
“Do you hear that?” Yuni asked.
Mary nodded. “Let’s go check.”
They arrived to see a crowd of students watching a fight.
It was Kayo and Sui—they were fighting five other students. No one dared step in.
Yuni asked one of the girls nearby, “What’s happening?”
She replied, “One of those guys said something that offended Kayo, and he just snapped. Then Sui joined in to help him.”
So Mary handed her bag to Yuni.
“Mary! Don’t interfere!” Yuni warned.
But Mary didn’t listen. She stepped forward and tried to pull one of the students back.
Suddenly—a blow struck her face.
Mary screamed in frustration, “STOP IT! That’s enough!”
The whole crowd froze.
Kayo stared at her. “Mary!?”
One of the boys growled, “Who the hell are you? Are you here to defend us or that psycho, Kayo?”
Kayo stepped forward furiously.
“What did you just say?”
Mary blocked his path.
“Enough already!”
The boy pushed her to the ground.
“Out of my way, little girl.”
Kayo grabbed the boy by the collar, fury burning in his eyes.
“How dare you push her like that!”
The boy began choking as Kayo’s grip tightened.
Ending of the fight

just then, the school principal arrived and stopped the fight.
He ordered Kayo, Sui, and the other five boys to report to the administration office immediately.
Yuni ran to help Mary up.
“I told you not to get involved! Look what happened!”
Mary smiled weakly. “I’m okay…”
Sarina, who had watched the entire scene, walked over.
“You’re reckless,” she said. “But… you have a kind heart.”
Mary smiled. “Maybe… but my kindness often gets me in trouble. I guess it’s my weakness.”
Yuni shook her head. “No, Mary. Your kindness isn’t a weakness—it’s a rare gift. Something most people lack.”
Mary looked down and whispered, “Maybe you’re right…”
The bell rang, and everyone returned to their classrooms.
After that the teacher entered and announced:
“Listen up, students. I have something important to tell you…”
